Tornado Warning! (From God)

This article was first published in July 2014 by an online publisher that appears to be non-existent at this time. That is fine because though things were stirring up around the world at that time they were stirred up even more when it came to my mind to revamp this article and republish it in 2016 on Experts Column, which also seems like it is also going to be non-existent.

Things Are Getting Stirred Up

• I saw a report that earthquakes have doubled. The article said scientists attributed this to just random chance. But I had to think of the Holy Scriptures.


• Trouble brews in the U.S.A. with talk of suing President Barack Obama. Calls for his impeachment and along with that of Attorney General Holder are heard. The governor of Arizona rakes Obama over the coals over border issues. Mr. Obama was the most threatened U.S. president in history.


• Trouble in Iraq, and Iran might develop nuclear weapons. Islamists in Iraq have seized nuclear material. Also, there has been at least one report that Mecca might be targeted by radical Sunni Muslims.


• Russia still plagued the Ukraine. North Korea fired test missiles. Hamas attacks Israel with missiles and with “on foot” terrorists. Persecution of Christians is on the rise worldwide, including the United States. There has been a sudden reversal of long held moral values throughout much of the world.


• A report came in that the earth’s magnetic field is weakening, mainly over the Western Hemisphere. Perhaps this is in preparation for Revelation 16:8, And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

And let us not forget about the four "blood moons" of 2014 and 2015. While lunar eclipses happen quite often, it is rare that four occur in a series that fall on the Jewish feasts of Passover and Tabernacles. In the midst of those blood moons there was a solar eclipse. History records that each time when such blood moons occur something happens involving the Jews.

We now come to the time I was reworking this article in November 2016. The U.S. Presidential Election was held and a most remarkable event took place: businessman Donald Trump was elected as President of the United States. In my mind, and in the mind of many others, Republican or Democrat, we thought this man would never be elected. However numerous things occurred, many of which were very shocking, that make it very clear that God wanted Mr. Trump to be elected. Why so? I will bring out some things in a moment.

There were a number of riots and protests across the United States after Mr. Trump was. People were angry, but this anger was already brewing from when I first wrote this article. There were a number of police killed. In other places there were shootings and bombings. Persecution against Christians continued to rise.

There was another sign in the celestial heaven that the time of the end of the Gentile Age has arrived. According to a report that cited NASA we would see a super moon, and one so big that has not been seen since, yep, 1948– the year Israel was put back on the map!

Speaking of Israel, perhaps one reason why God permitted Mr. Trump to be President was the fact Mr. Trump fulfilled the desire Congress had decades ago to move the United States Embassy to Jerusalem. In addition to that, he boldly stated that Jerusalem was the capital of Israel! But, there is more! Also, Mr. Trump was considered to be the most Pro-life President ever. However, he was not reelected.

I am now revamping this article again (February 17, 2021). Things have really been stirred up over the past twelve months. COVID-19 raged across the world in 2020. In order to stop the spread of the virus many were required to stay home unless they needed food or medicine, or were an essential worker. State governments snapped into action, but some went too far, forbidding other commerce and even forbidding singing in churches. Many jurisdictions placed limits on how many people could attend a church service and some even place time limits on how long church services could last. Also, during the first half of the year there was a national cash shortage forcing many to make purchases electronically. The overreach of some jurisdictions, the need to purchase items electronically, and some more things seemed to me to be training those in authority to help fulfill Revelation 13 and other passages.

Add to this the killing of George Floyd, a black man, by a white police officer which set off outrage across the United States. At least one police station was taken over. Numerous autonomous zones popped up throughout the nation. Some city councils voted to defund their police. Confederate statues, and others that dealt with slavery, were taken down as a segment of society wanted to erase history.

The 2020 election was very contentious and a national embarrassment occurred on January 6, 2021 when a mob got into the capitol building. Some in the mob wanted to kill Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Vice President Mike Pence, and many others.

Numerous prophets had prophesied Trump would be reelected. When that did not occur some continued to prophesy that the election would be overturned at various points. It did not happen. Add to this there are some Christians who are Trump supporters that get a little heated when one doubts the election was stolen from Trump. Other Christians are ready to defend the false prophets at the expense of mangling the Word of God and / or disregarding the Holy Spirit fruit of meekness. I am very afraid some Christians have become spiritually deluded and if they do not repent they will be ready to accept The Lie that will probably soon come. It is written in 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 And with all delusion of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

But, to make a special point, let me go back to the end of summer and the beginning of fall in 2020. Trump and his associates worked hard to produce a level of peace in the Middle East. On August 13 a joint statement between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States, titled as The Abraham Accord, was established. The Holy Bible indicates that both Jews and most Arabs came from Abraham. Both Judaism and Islam hold Abraham in high regard. Additional peace agreements were made between Israel and other Arab nations.

Mr. Joseph Biden became President and, if I am not mistaken, he wants to reinstate the nuclear agreement with Iran. The current government of Iran is no friend of Israel. We also expect persecution of Christians to increase again in the United States like it did under the Obama Administration.

The Whirlwind Of YHVH!

I would say SOMETHING IS BREWING! Others might not say that after getting accommodated to such things or blindly accepting false science in some cases. However, the Holy Word of God warns that something is brewing. In fact, we can find a tornado warning from God, The Whirlwind Of YHVH in Jeremiah 30:23-24:

Behold, the whirlwind of YHVH goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of YHVH shall not return, until He has done it, and until he has performed the intents of His heart: in the latter days you shall consider it.

I. Its Devastation 23a-c
Behold, the whirlwind of YHVH goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: . . .

Just how bad can it be? Consider The Flood as recorded in Genesis 6 and 7. Because people did not repent of their sinful ways, all flesh on earth, both of animal and man², was destroyed except for eight people and the creatures aboard the ark. Consider Sodom And Gomorrah from Genesis 18:16-19:29 in which only three people were spared!

Consider the facts that Christ warned that the Temple would be destroyed and the Old Testament prophets declared that the Jews would be scattered for not turning away from a life of sin. Forty years after Jesus the Christ was crucified the Temple was destroyed and the Jews were scattered throughout much of the world.

So, what is the world to expect from this whirlwind of YHVH? Much! We see just a touch of it in regard to the Jews in Jeremiah 30:6-7, Ask now, and see whether a man travails with child? Why then do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? 7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it

Fear and the pit and the snare
Are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth³.
And it shall be That he who flees from the noise of the fear
Shall fall into the pit,
And he who comes up from the midst of the pit
Shall be caught in the snare;
For the windows from on high are open,
And the foundations of the earth are shaken.
The earth is violently broken,
The earth is split open,
The earth is shaken exceedingly.
The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard,
And shall totter like a hut;
Its transgression shall be heavy upon it,
And it will fall, and not rise again.

And here, along with other Holy Scripture, you have the reason for the tornado of YHVH: People will not turn away from their sinful ways to truly serve the One and only Living God. This is one reason why the world is stirred up. We are spiritual creatures, and the spiritual composition of the unredeemed knows Christ will soon return, and that spiritual composition does not like it at all.

Another reason for the whirlwind is because many of the nations of the world have scattered and mistreated the Jews. There are numerous Holy Scriptures that point to this. God does use people to punish other people at times, but there is no reason to go overboard in these matters.

II. Its Direction 23d
. . . it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.

When therefore you shall see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place: he that reads let him understand. 16 Then they that are in Judea, let them flee to the mountains: 17 And he that is on the housetop, let him not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 And he that is in the field, let him not go back to take his coat. 19 And woe to them that are with child and that give suck in those days. 20 But pray that your flight be not in the winter or on the sabbath. 21 For there shall be then great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, neither shall be. 22 And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say to you, Lo here is Christ, or there: do not believe him. 24 For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. 25 Behold I have told it to you, beforehand. 26 If therefore they shall say to you, Behold he is in the desert: go not out. Behold he is in the closets: believe it not. 27 For as lightning comes out of the east and appears even into the west: so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

There are many more passages that indicate the wrath of God will come upon the Jews, but the non-Jewish world also faces the wrath of God. We have previously mentioned some Holy Scriptures that show the world will face His wrath. Also consider Jeremiah 25:31– A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for YHVH has a controversy with the nations, He will plead with all flesh; He will give them that are wicked to the sword, says YHVH.

The direction of this tornado of YHVH can be summed up in the following statement: It is destined for everyone outside of Christ! Romans 1:18-19 states, For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has shown it unto them. Romans 3:10 declares, There is none righteous, no, not one, and 3:23 says, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

The only escape from His wrath is to be in Christ and remain in Him. This will not necessarily protect you from the wrath and stupidity of mankind, but one ought to face that rather than the wrath of God.

III. The World’s Destiny 24 a-b
The fierce anger of YHVH shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart:

There is much in the Holy Bible about the destiny of the world during this time but let us just mention the following. YHVH states in Jeremiah 30:11 that He will make a full end of the nations where He scattered Israel and in verse 16 He adds, . . . all they that devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil you shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon you will I give for a prey.

As this article was being revamp in 2021 Israel was still pestered by attacks. It looks like the nuclear agreement with Iran will be reinstated with the threat of Iran creating nuclear weapons. During the Biden administration the United Nations will become more anti-Israel. Now, consider Zechariah 12:1-3:
The burden of the word of YHVH for Israel, saith YHVH, which stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Armageddon then takes place. But after this, Christ returns, and with His return Israel returns to Him. You can read about this in Zechariah 12:7-14:21. This is one of the main objectives of The Great Tribulation, that the remnant of Israel would dedicate themselves to Jesus Christ.

Next, according to Revelation 20 Christ will rule on earth for 1,000 years. Those that surrender to Christ now and become His disciple will reign with Him. As it is written in 2 Timothy 2:11, If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us.

IV. Your Decision 24c
. . . in the latter days ye shall consider it.

Oddly enough, as I was first working on this article there was a photographer in Saskatchewan taking snapshots of a bride and groom outside. Guess what eventually appeared miles away behind the couple? Yes, a tornado. Even more oddly enough, just over a year ago I saw a picture of two males with one proposing to the other and, yes, with a tornado in the background. With all of this and more I have to think of Luke 17:26-29: And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Are you going to ignore the warnings from God's Word about the whirlwind of YHVH or will you get serious with God? Though there is a destiny for the world, by the mercy of God you can choose your own. You can choose to be on God's side, or not to be on His side. But, barring your death, the time draws near to make a decision or face the wrath of God on earth. You face the immediate wrath of God if you die before the Great Tribulation and without surrendering to Christ. This is something we all deserve, but Christ took the penalty for us and offers to us His life to live now.

The Birth Pangs Are Increasing In Frequency And Intensity!

Since the re-establishment of Israel in 1948 the general signs of Christ's return have increased in frequency and intensity. The time is at hand. Turn away from sin and turn to Christ. For those that claim Him as their Savior, walk even closer to Him. Make sure you are truly and completely dedicated to Him. Tell others about His great salvation.

By truly surrendering to Christ you will be transferred from the kingdom of darkness and placed into the Kingdom of Christ. You will not face the tornado of God. Continue in Christ, for it is written (Revelation 2:26), And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations, and (Revelation 3:21) To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Be on the winning side.
